We showcase the work of our own trainers and professionals as well as that of partner agencies. See below for a range of our professionals' work.
Our training consultants are published authors. Matthew Waites has published Supporting Young Transgender Men: A Professionals Guide. Matthew has extensive experience working with young people within the health and social care sector. He has significant understanding of how issues such as health, transition, housing, homelessness, abuse, discrimination, bullying, harassment, mental health and emotional wellbeing impact gender diverse communities. His courses give incredible insight into how we can support gender diverse stakeholders in a variety of settings.
Matthew is a qualified and experienced youth and community worker and identifies as a transman. Matthew brings both personal and professional experience to his courses to enhance participants' learning.
Matthew wrote this book because he identified through his work the lack of access to clear and insightful knowledge and information to supporting transgender young men. You can buy the book here: Supporting Young Transgender Men – Jessica Kingsley Publishers - UK (jkp.com) For 10% off use code: Y18
